The smuggling operation

After the war in 1918, the Allies seized the German war industry. However, Fokker had already anticipated this and taken measures.
In a gigantic operation, Fokker smuggled the remains of his factory in Schwerin, containing hundreds (partly completed) aircraft, across the border to the Netherlands in 6 trains, each with 60 wagons.
Many machines and parts also came to the Netherlands.
