The Fokker Atlantic Holland C-2 (Model 7)
In principle, the C designations indicate that these are Cargo/Freight aircraft.
Six C-2s were built, three of which served with the USAAS.
The C-2s at the USAAS were used for a variety of military activities, including as ambulance aircraft.
The C-2 was based on the Fokker F.VIIA-3m, and fitted with three Wright
Whirlwind R-790-1 engines of 220 hp each.
The C-2 had a larger wing than the Dutch F.VIIA-3m, and the cockpit shape was also modified.
The C-2 served as the model for a number of other American types/versions.
