The Fokker M.16Z (B-III)

The M.16Z was built in February 1916, the designation 'Z' comes from Zweistielig.
Two support struts connected the upper and lower wings of this biplane.
The engine was originally a 6-cylinder 160 hp Mercedes D III inline engine, but the 30 aircraft delivered to Austria-Hungary had a 200 hp Austro-Daimler engine.

In Austria-Hungary this type was designated B-III.

The M.16Z was only purchased by KuK Oesterreichische Ungarische Luftfahrt Truppen.
