A training aircraft with an 8-cylinder 70 hp Renault V engine.

M.3a version with upper and lower rudders. The aircraft was equipped with a 70 hp Renault 8-cylinder V-engine.

This more streamlined version of the M.3 was built only as a prototype. The M.3a was sold to a Russian customer in October 1913. During training flights over Schwerin, the M.3a crashed.
