The Fokker Atlantic Holland S.3 (Model 2)
In 1924 one S.3 was shipped to the Atlantic factory equipped with a 180 hp Wright Hispano E engine.
In 1926 this S.3 went to the Wright Flying Company to transport service personnel for on-site repairs of Wright engines.
Naturally, the S.3 was equipped with a Wright engine, a Wright R-790 Whirlwind J-4 of 200 hp.
Later 220 and 300 hp Wright Whirlwinds were installed.
Before delivery to the Wright Company, the S.3 was modified and adapted in many respects.
After an accident in 1929, the aircraft was scrapped.
