In 1933, instead of engines with pusher propellers, FLB-51 was fitted with engines on the wing with pull propellers.

The cockpit was also modified and the existing PJ-1 was given the designation PJ-2.

Only the FLB-51 was modified, the other four remained in the PJ-1 configuration.
