Fokker V.11

The V.11 was built in late 1917 and had a 160 hp Mercedes engine.

This type was the winner of the fighter aircraft competition of January 1918.

The V.11 was one of the prototypes of what would later become the big winner: the D-VII. The fighter was quite similar to the V.9, but the V.9 was the model for the Fokker D.VI. Equipped with a 160 hp Mercedes engine, the V.11 participated in the January 1918 fighter competitions at Johannesthal. Ultimately, the fighter won with flying colors.
