The V.33, with German registration, was built in 1918 and equipped with a 110 hp Le Rhône engine. It was a further development of the Fokker V.9. Modifications included a new rudder, a cantilever stabilizer, integrated ailerons, and N-struts between the wings.

The same V.33, of which only one was built, came to the Netherlands after November 1918. Anthony Fokker flew it himself as a private aircraft until 1922. The first LVA marking, the orange roundel, remained on the fuselage, but without registration.
